Our work with Neriku has grown into a wider partnership around its people, HR function and organisational development.
The engagement has brought together strategic HR advisory, hands-on HR support, leadership and Directors' sessions, organisational structure and role development, recruitment support, and the development of clearer HR practices and processes. Rather than treating these as separate projects, the work has been shaped around the priorities of the business and what is needed at each stage of its development.
For Anne Marie, Director at Neriku, one of the things that has stood out is the practical nature of that support:
“The advice being given is very relatable. It’s not just textbook advice.”
That principle has shaped the wider relationship. For a growing organisation, there can be a temptation to address everything at once. Our role has included helping the team identify priorities, create structure around larger projects and move forward in manageable stages — while remaining willing to reassess the direction as the organisation evolves.
As Anne Marie explains:
“When we take on a project, it’s important that it’s phased… after each phase, we rethink where we are, see if we need to re-strategise, and move forward.”
That same approach extends into our work alongside Neriku's HR function. Through regular conversations, we look at where the organisation is today, identify gaps and priorities, and shape the support around what the business actually needs rather than applying a predetermined solution.
Partnering with Neriku to bring greater structure to its people practices, strengthen its HR function and support the organisation as it continues to evolve.
“The advice being given is very relatable. It’s not just textbook advice.”

Karl Dimech, HR Manager, describes this as one of the aspects that differentiates the relationship:
“He builds upon the business needs… he analysed where we are, carried out the gap analysis and always gave us the necessary advice and vision according to our needs.”
The work therefore continues to evolve alongside Neriku. Priorities change, new structures and roles emerge, and different people challenges require different responses. Having strategic HR experience available while remaining, as Karl describes it, “always a phone call away”, allows the relationship to move between strategic thinking and practical support when needed.
What connects the different areas of work is a shared understanding that organisational development does not need to follow a fixed roadmap. It starts with understanding the organisation, its people and where it wants to go — and building from there.
