Annemarie

Psychotherapist & Wellbeing Consultant

Annemarie Spiteri is a Gestalt Psychotherapist and Clinical Supervisor with over sixteen years of experience supporting individuals, groups, and organisations across a range of mental health and wellbeing settings. She has worked extensively in both the public and private sectors, providing psychotherapy, facilitating group interventions, and delivering training programmes focused on psychological wellbeing and personal development.

Her professional experience includes a number of clinical and community-based roles within Malta’s public mental health services, where she worked as a Psychology Assistant and later served as a team leader within a community mental health day centre. She subsequently combined private practice with her role as a psychotherapist at St Patrick’s Salesian School and its residential care services, providing individual and group psychotherapy, supporting educators and carers, mentoring residential staff, and contributing to multidisciplinary care and recruitment processes. Today, Annemarie works on a self-employed basis, providing individual and group psychotherapy services to private clients and organisations, including Richmond Foundation and Karl Vella Foundation. She also serves as a casual part-time lecturer at MCAST and has delivered training programmes through various institutions, including Melita Training and Resource Management and Endeavour.

As a qualified Clinical Supervisor, Annemarie supports psychotherapists and other mental health practitioners through professional supervision, helping them strengthen reflective practice, professional development, and the quality of care they provide. Through her work, she remains committed to fostering resilience, wellbeing, and meaningful growth in both individuals and organisations.
